Duma forma geral, os conte&amp;#250;dos de astronomia e astrof&amp;#237;sica ficam-se pelo conhecimento do sistema solar e pouco mais. A grande diversidade de escalas temporais na din&amp;#226;mica e evolu&amp;#231;&amp;#227;o estelar contrastam com a estabilidade aparente do c&amp;#233;u noturno e tamb&amp;#233;m com a pouca perce&amp;#231;&amp;#227;o a olho nu da atividade no sol. A sensa&amp;#231;&amp;#227;o de que tudo est&amp;#225; constantemente a mudar e a evoluir, mesmo no espa&amp;#231;o exterior, n&amp;#227;o &amp;#233; suficientemente transmitida aos estudantes do ensino regular.
Este cen&amp;#225;rio pretende mostrar a enorme quantidade de fen&amp;#243;menos presentes na astrof&amp;#237;sica da maioria dos sistemas estelares. O sistema escolhido, um sistema bin&amp;#225;rio Be raios X (ou simplesmente BeX), tanto serve como oportunidade para se ver em a&amp;#231;&amp;#227;o a din&amp;#226;mica estelar, como para produzir dados e fazer ci&amp;#234;ncia que pode ajudar a resolver algumas das quest&amp;#245;es cient&amp;#237;ficas para as quais ainda n&amp;#227;o temos uma resposta clara.
