E isto apesar da impossibilidade de realizar medi&amp;#231;&amp;#245;es diretas e de a &amp;#250;nica informa&amp;#231;&amp;#227;o dispon&amp;#237;vel para a sua deriva&amp;#231;&amp;#227;o serem alguns fot&amp;#245;es que viajaram por dezenas e dezenas de milh&amp;#245;es de anos. O que &amp;#233; ainda mais surpreendente &amp;#233; o facto de que a simples medi&amp;#231;&amp;#227;o proposta aqui torna poss&amp;#237;vel obter a evid&amp;#234;ncia experimental para a exist&amp;#234;ncia da famosa mat&amp;#233;ria escura. Acredita-se que o Universo &amp;#233; constitu&amp;#237;do por 23% de mat&amp;#233;ria escura e 73% de energia escura, sendo extremamente dif&amp;#237;cil de detetar e estudar. S&amp;#243; podemos estudar a mat&amp;#233;ria escira atrav&amp;#233;s das for&amp;#231;as gravitacionais que estas exercem. Investigar a natureza de mat&amp;#233;ria escura e energia escura &amp;#233; um dos maiores desafios atuais nas &amp;#225;reas da f&amp;#237;sica de part&amp;#237;culas e cosmologia.
